Slashed of import tax on vehicles government collect nearly 15 billion form import and other taxes. This collection participated 9920 Million has been collected as direct tax from vechile imports and balance collected as VAT, Port Levy and other duties.
Director General of the Finance Policies of the Ministry of Finance and Plan Implementation said tax collection in nine months - 2009 1995 Million only but today as 9920 Million. In 2010 11815 vehicles have been import this com pair in 2009 10515 more
Heavy duty vehicles such as lorries imported during the first nine months last year amounted to 3,797 and this has increased to 13,647 during the first nine months of this year. The number of tractors imported during the first nine months of last year amounted to 10,482 and this has increased to 16,489 in the first nine months this year.
