Sri Lanka Share Market down trend continues third trading day also heavy losses in selected company shares, Market down afternoon then up some.
The main All Share Price Index fell 18.24 points (0.28 percent) to 6,585.99, and while the more liquid Milanka index rose 4.62 points (0.08 percent) to close at 5,910.54. Total Turnover was 1.2 billion rupees.
Active Trading
Regnis (Lanka) was actively traded, closing at 477.10 rupees, down 26.30, after hitting a high of 515 rupees and also
Citrus Leisure was the most actively traded share, with 1.1 million shares done, closing at 67.90 rupees, up three.
Mostly Trading Share
Colombo Land & Development Company was also heavily traded, closing at 59.40 rupees, down 50 cents.
John Keells Holdings, which accounted for the second highest turnover, closed at 201 rupees, up a rupee.
Today market has two crossings or off-market privat deals of JKH of 150,000 shares and 200,000 shares, both at 200 rupees each. There was also a crossing of 1.8 million shares of Vallibel One at 26.70 rupees each. It closed at 26.80, down 10 cents.
